TVEZ PLAYER
Privacy Policy

TVEZ Player stores only the information needed to provide trials, accounts, memberships, profiles, app settings, and support. We do not sell personal information or use account information for third-party advertising.
1. Information stored in the cloud
When an account or trial is used, TVEZ Player may store the following categories of information:
- Account and membership information, including the email address, secure password hash, activation status, membership type, and membership expiry.
- Trial and device information, including the Trial ID and limited device information needed to provide one Device Trial per device.
- Source information, including source links and login information entered by the user when needed to restore a source.
- Profiles, settings, and app activity, including profile names and types, optional profile PINs, child-age settings, favorites, recent channels, movies or series, recent search terms, hidden or pinned groups, theme, language, auto sign-in preference, and similar settings used to restore and personalize the app.
- Support and transaction information, including support-ticket information and limited payment references when those services are used.
Recent search terms are stored to make it easier to repeat previous searches. Cloud account, profile, and app information is encrypted in the TVEZ Player database and is used to restore settings after sign-in and keep profile information updated across signed-in devices.
The examples above are not a list of every individual setting. TVEZ Player may add, remove, or change similar settings as app features change. This policy will be updated when there is a meaningful change to the type of information collected or how it is used.
2. Information stored on the device
The app stores the Trial ID, account email, authentication token, the last selected theme, and app language locally on the device. This information is stored in encrypted form and is used to recognize the trial or account, keep the user signed in, and load the preferred appearance and language.
3. Temporary cache
TVEZ Player may temporarily cache channel logos, movie or series artwork, and similar images on the device. This reduces repeated downloads and helps the app load more quickly.
Cached data can be deleted from the app. It may also be replaced or removed automatically as the cache is refreshed.
4. How the information is used
TVEZ Player uses this information only to:
- Create and activate accounts.
- Provide one Device Trial per device.
- Restore sources, profiles, and settings after sign-in.
- Apply membership and active-device limits.
- Send activation, password-recovery, important account, and membership-expiry messages.
- Provide technical, account, and refund support.
5. Passwords and security
Communication between the TVEZ Player app, website, and servers uses encrypted connections. Passwords are not stored in readable form. TVEZ Player stores only a secure, one-way password hash used to verify the password during sign-in.
TVEZ Player uses reasonable safeguards to protect account, trial, profile, source, and membership information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure.
6. Payments
When payments become available, they will be processed by a third-party payment provider. TVEZ Player will not receive or store complete payment-card information.
TVEZ Player may store limited transaction details needed to activate a membership, confirm payment status, respond to refund requests, and maintain required accounting records.
7. Sharing
TVEZ Player does not sell account or profile information and does not provide it to third parties for advertising or their own marketing.
Service providers such as hosting, email-delivery, support, and future payment providers may process only the limited information needed to provide their service to TVEZ Player.
8. Retention and account deletion
Account and profile information is kept while the account is active. The account holder can permanently delete the account from the Membership page in the member portal.
Recent searches and other profile activity are kept only while needed to provide account and profile features. They may be replaced as newer activity is stored and are removed with the account, subject to the backup and record-retention exceptions below.
Deleted account information may remain temporarily in weekly backups until those backups are replaced through the normal backup process. Limited trial information may be retained to enforce the one-trial-per-device rule. Payment, refund, security, and accounting records may be retained where needed for their stated purpose or as required by law.
9. Child profiles
A Child profile is an optional restricted profile created and managed by the account holder. It is not a separate child account and does not require its own email address.
The selected age is used to limit content only when usable rating information is provided by the user's source or EPG provider. The account holder remains responsible for reviewing the connected sources and profile settings.
